I'd post a picture of Max -- 'cause really, who's more shallow than Max? -- but I can't find my login to wherever I store pics on the web. Sorry ducks! (is shallow *and* lame)

Thanks for the pointers. Slash isn't really my thing, but I'm going to pop over to Amazon and see what I can see! :) And thanks again for the pics!

Okay, I found Uncovered and put it on my wishlist. Birthday is coming up!

Most of us PW fans love Uncovered; Max displays a range of emotions, and he's damned sexy, too. You have only to put up with a shrill Kate Beckinsale to get him.... As for The Breed, I'm not normally keen on vampire stories, but there were parts of this one that were challenging for AP as an actor, I think. Once I got over my own hangup, and some of the blatant silliness, I quite liked it. Certainly liked the characters well enough to see want them to have a life outside of that film, in sidhe_woman's stories.

Vampires, with two notable exceptions, aren't usually my thing either, but you've got me interested now :)

Yes, I pretty much have two notable exceptions (well, three, now) to the "I generally don't care for vampires, either" rule: Spike, Angel and Aaron Grey. But I reserve the right to revisit said rule and add exceptions whenever deemed necessary. -g-

Oh! Okay, make that three [g] I'd totally forgotten about BTVS there.

So that's Forever Knight, Anita Blake, BtVS. Unless I revisit one day myself :)

Have you ever read Barbara Hambly's "Those Who Hunt The Night" and Travelling With The Dead"? They are very unusual Vampire themed novels and I love them.

Oh, yes, I have! I read the first one when it first came out. I remember I liked it quite a bit.
